Something similar to this happened to my daughter when she was 7 and it is an awful feeling. When I was told, all of the blood left my face and I thought I was going to pass out. It is hard to describe how you feel when this happens. Fortunately, my child didn't realize what the perpetrator was planning to do and she wasn't affected by it emotionally.

I watch too much CSI but it is educational.

Praying for you. My son was molested by my husbands friend and he didn't tell me for a year or two after it happened. Sadly the guy only got 1 yr in prison. Tho he is suppose to register for life as a molester I think. We did go thru counseling thru Victims Witness. I also had been molested as a child. I think it is just disgusting. I hope they have caught him.
Prayers,
GM

(((((((((((((((((((hugs and prayers))))))))))))))))))))))))))
I just wanted to add how sorry for you and your family that this happened. Something similar happened to a kid on my route, and his parents and the police made a really big deal about him doing the right thing by telling someone, and remembering the details that put the bad guy away. I hope Holly knows she didn't do anything wrong, and how good she was to tell, and that the bad guy will not be able to hurt her again, because she was so brave! Hope you are doing OK too.

Your family and the friends family have done all the right things. Holly is lucky to have such a loving fmily to put all this behind her. So strong of the girls to point out this horrible person.

Take care Gene.

This just makes me sick!!!!
Why on earth these people feel the need to prey on little children.I will NEVER
comprehend!!!I am sooo very sorry this evilness had to come into your child and your families life!!
Please be sure and call about family counseling-even though you might not think you need it..Sometimes it helps to have someone to talk to...
Take care!
I'll say a prayer for lil holly tonight and the rest of your family..

Gene, there aren't any words to tell you how very sorry I am that your family is going through this.
I have 2 daughters and 1 son all over 30 and all of which have been molested, myself included and I know all to well the effects that this can have on a child.
Please do all you can to see she gets counseled by the right person someone that specializes in these cases.
I agree with all that there is no form of justice that would be to good for this scum, however prepare yourself that justice most likely won't be had unless this jerk has a lot of priors and is being watched because he has been doing this and more of late.
I'm so sorry to say this, I just want you to prepare so that if this turns out as many of these cases do it won't be as such a shock to you..
Feel free to contact me if I can be of any help to you at all, God knows this is one of the hardest things for a parent to deal with.
Gentle/caring hugs,
LindaM(suede)

Gene - stopping by here on a more serious note - I'm so sorry that that jerk subjected Holly to that - and thank God it didn't go any further. My daughter, who is now 23, went thru that type of thing and beyond on God knows how many occasions unbeknownst to me or my hubby - this was around the age of 11 and up, and it went on for at least months, could have been years. It was the good Catholic family right on our block with three sons, all close around my daughter's age, and touching was only the beginning of what went on - 3 good little altar boys, and I only found this out about a year ago, TEN years after the fact - she kept it to herself all of that time. I swear, when I drive by their house, I want to throw a bomb inside or burn it down or something. The old man was abusive to his boys, and they so very kindly 'payed it forward' - it JUST MAKES ME SICK. She's got so many problems and battle scars now, and it's too late to do much now - now I understand some of her acting out behavior when she was around that age. So glad that type of thing didn't happen to your precious one.

GOOD FOR YOU FOR REPORTING IT RIGHT AWAY AND HAVING THE COURAGE TO DO SO.

What else can I say, Jacquie

Off topic, Jacquie, but that little grandson of yours in your Avatar is almost as cute as our little grandsons are...

I can certainly see your pride is justified!

Back to the topic, we're supposed to have a chat with a sheriff's detective tomorrow morning about Holly's "treatment" at the hands of that creep...

Much love and
