Hi everyone. I've been back to work and not on very much, just kind of lurking around different boards here. It seems to have changed a bit since last time.
I wanted to ask a basic question. An MRI shows that my nerve roots are all bunched together in one area of the thecal sac in the lumbar region. The neurosurgeon said this was likely caused by an infection of sorts, he is referring me to his associate. I did check with my Mother and my bother and her had a contagious form of Menengitis 20 years ago, I wasnt diagnosised. My doctor had also said that I had a mild "menegitis" when I was ill with pneominia years ago. I was in bed for 3 months and refused the hospital due to having little kids. He really didnt want to say more, I just need to do some research (I know thats not always the best thing to do, causes more anxiety), but can anyone send me in the right direction for research. Just curious if my symptoms fall in line with anything. Thanks a bunch, Michelle |
