[If these epidurals don't work this time, after all the ones you had. I would ask for a different protocal. Just a thought, as they don't work for everyone. good luck to you and I hope it doesn't hurt. ginnie

Some time has now gone by and I am wondering if you had reached a decision regarding surgery - did you find out about artificial discs, or about any other things that have helped you. Did you find a way to manage the pain? I sure hope that you are in a better place now - I think that you got a lot of really good advice here, and hope that it all helped. Best, hasmag.

Hope all worked out OK for you. I would have done neither of what you suggested. I would have headed for that second and third opinion before option for surgery. If they all agree, then I would have the surgery. ginnie:hug:
