Tapping into controversial back surgeries

Doc

Along with surgeons in US info; another post I found really informative was a post by GJZH on 10/01/06 with definitions for new people: PLIF, ALIF & TLIF. I already had L4-5 laminectomy fusion with instrumentation in 2006. I was amazed seeing the x-ray of the 58 year old woman that showed the instrumentation, etc. at the L4-5 level. That x-ray looked almost identical to the one I had post fusion.

Also found quite interesting and informative was a post by Jo*mar of 12/2/2010 showing spine from C1 thru L5, including sacrum & coccyx. I myself, learned for the first time the definition of L4 and L5. Again, this would be especially good info for all those contemplating fusion surgery.
