Default about medications

I was sent home with muscle relaxant too besides the percocet. That did as much for me as the percocet. It was soma compound. That first two weeks I was pretty sore. I had C3-7 done. Rest alot. Sleep. That first shower will feel great. I wish you all the best. ginnie

Beckel, my surgical nurse told me not to use a recliner after surgery but did not say why. I used it often but always got up stiffer and more sore than before I sat in it. I think it may have had to do with the curvature of the seat back. I just did my PT exercises each time I got up and felt better. I'm at 10 weeks and can look both left and right without having to turn my shoulders, which is a big improvement. Driving is no problem at all now. And, I'm not having any noticeable pain other than mild headaches from time to time.

Each case is different. I wish for you the very best results and recovery. Just don't push recovery. You may feel fine but your body may still need time to fully heal.
