Hi all still not use to a computer but trying. I'm having a posterior revision of c5-6 on wed and am told this is much more painful than original surgery anyone know why and what kind of meds i will need. right now i'm on vicodin hp soma ambien and percocet and nothing seems to help the pain.Alot of days I don't even use the meds because it doesn't seem to help. Now I'm worry that the pain will just be too much. I have 4 children at home and am awidow so will have to do everthing myself. My job has been great once again and are holding my job for me which the doc says will be atleast 3 months due to all the heavy lifting. Any advice Thanks too all

Ask the doc to change the Soma to Valium at least for the short term. It will do a better job on the muscle spasms after surgery.
