Default Hi Mrsalkire

If the pain is that bad, maybe you should call your doctor. I was better at 5 weeks, but we are all different. I stayed on pain meds. for quite awhile, in fact all through PT. If you husband can go with you to the appt. that might help put a light on for your doctor. If you arn't sleeping at night due to pain, check in with him. What medication does he have you on? Also I was on my back sleeping for a good 6-8 months, never on my side. I am two years out, and just now starting to sleep like I use to do, some on my side. Keep in touch. sorry you are having so much trouble. You are due for your six week check up soon, maybe go in early. I hope you feel better soon. ginnie

Thanks Ginnie! I took your advice went in early. He is setting me up with facet joint injection.
HE was very concerned that I am in so much pain. Made me feel better you know? he is still hoping its because that joint is stretched out so badly. Im supposed to go back to work this week. Its not going tohappen. We are so busy @ work now way I could do it right now. I wake my husband everytime I need to move @ night so he can hold my head because it hurts so much.
vicoden 10/325 flexeril 10 mg HE actually told me to take ibprophen 800 mg daily for 7 days.

Default Hi Mrssalkire

Really glad you went in to the doc and got checked out. I hope the injection works and can bring some relief. The ones that I had, did help. Also if it doesn't work, don't be ashamed to ask for more in the way of pain medication.
Vicoden is good, but can be bumped up for periods of time. I did ask for more help and my doctor was wonderful to me. There will be healing, just believe it can all become better. This is a traumatic surgery, and it just takes some time. I am glad you doctor was willing to do something to help out. Let me know how it goes. Most injections you are numb before, I had no pain. ginnie
