If the pain is that bad, maybe you should call your doctor. I was better at 5 weeks, but we are all different. I stayed on pain meds. for quite awhile, in fact all through PT. If you husband can go with you to the appt. that might help put a light on for your doctor. If you arn't sleeping at night due to pain, check in with him. What medication does he have you on? Also I was on my back sleeping for a good 6-8 months, never on my side. I am two years out, and just now starting to sleep like I use to do, some on my side.
