I assume you have had a surgical consult by now. What does the doc say? Those are some nasty symptoms and not to be ignored. Best wishes.

The numbness is the one that scares me the most. I have it in my leg. Makes me think a nerve is being severly pinched and you have to wonder if it will ever truly recover even with surgical intervention. Good Luck and hope you find something out soon.

What scares ME the most is loss of consciousness! Now THAT'S scary! This has GOT to be taken care of NOW. Something HAS to be done and SOON.

What do you mean by "no help in sight?" Is the doctor not concerned with this? If he's not, you MUST find another doctor because this is serious! Not only the loss of consciousness, but you'll have permanent damage if something isn't done.

Please see a neurosurgeon SOON -- if you can't get into your own surgeon, please see another. This is something that shouldn't go unheeded. And please let us know what happens, okay? We'd really like to know!

God bless and please take care. Hugs, Lee

While the symptoms sure sound neuro, they may not be spinal. I started exhibiting many of them and went in to see Pain Man on an emergency basis. He referred me on to a super neuro. It turned out I now have dysautonomia added to my list of problems. It's neurological but not spinal. Whatever it is, you need to get this all sorted out. Best wishes.

Default dear john

please get to the doctor. don't ignor these very serious symptoms. may be other issues besides your fusion going on. The other posts are very correct, that being unconsious, is really something to take care of with your doctor right away. Please post and lets us know how you are doing. ginnie
