Just wondering if my symptoms are similar with others. My surgery was March 12th of this year my right arm is still 90% paralyzed my left probably 50 I see no improvement and almost four months after surgery anyone with this surgery have you had the same complications I keep getting sick of hearing from my doctor that I am on schedule and it takes 6 to 8 months. Just last few days I've felt twitches in my spine tingling that I haven't felt before I'm also wondering if this is common.
I to had C-5 surgery, now a 2nd for c-5 palsy... Rt arm nothing, left weak, 4 months in still being told to be patient... My wife feeds me, drink from straw, etc.... |
What PT did you do? Everytime I've done it, it made my neck worse! I'm desperate to improve
[QUOTE=LindaH;948992 Hi, I had a c4-6 fusion with a severe cord impingement c5 and woke up from surgery with no use of my lt arm and no hand grasp. Two weeks later i was in physical therapy and after 6months had 75% back and a few months later 100%. Work hard in therapy and give it time. Take care and hope this helps!
|
