[Evreux]

I have had most of the mri on my spine done at one particular hospital. I have herniations and protursions in the cervical, lumbar, and thoracic spine. While the worst, and most common herniations have been evident and operated on, the mri's have been one liners and always say unremarkable regarding the rest of the levels. clearly the levels are not perfect, but the reader seems to only remark on the worst ones only. Anyway, on one of the scans, the report read that there was a anterior protursion and anterior right thoracic disc compressing the spinal cord. Thats it. It is clear on the mri and obvious. But no mention of what the bump is on the vertebrea, nothing about any nerve displacement (I had the mri because I had a poking and needle sharp pains constantly and suddenly out of breath). The other MRIs read by this person are just as vague. I had another mri done and the clinic that read it, detailed it so well, I was not let with any questions. I am thinking of asking them to read the ones from the other hospital for second opinion. Is that something that they would be able to do or is it against some kind of ethic or regulation? Is there somewhere I can mail the MRIs and get a second opinion? If so can someone recommend a place?
