Weird pain connected to sciatica

Diagnosed with sciatica 11 weeks and 23 doctor visits ago. Started out as a pain in the left buttocks. Spread to the thigh and calf, then the foot, then the lower back. Then the entire back would spasm. Then the left hip would ache. Over that time, stomach pain from the meds. and ibprophan. Stopped all meds and vitamins and supplements. Acupressure, acupuncture, tens unit, traction, physical therapy, chiropractor didn't help. Couldn't get an MRI done because it hadn't been 8 weeks of "conservative" treatment yet according to my medical insurance.

Then crushing pain in the left foot. Bubbling feeling under the skin of the pain areas. An electrical "snap" feeling in my left sinus, tingling on the left side of my face. Left ear gets a muffled heart beat sound a few times a day. Shortness of breath and a knifing/stabbing pain on the outside of my left knee, right at the tendon joint

Now because I'm compensation for my weak left side, my right side thigh and foot are killing me. I limp all the time. I was out of work 4 weeks, ran out of paid leave and am now hobbling around at work. I'm an educator so I'm on my feet all the time.

I have a feeling I'm being misdiagnosed and not only have sciatica but also a torn labrum (hip socket joint)

I do all the stretches, being very mobile for the pain I'm in (level 7-9 while I'm awake) but I just can't shake this. I've had strained back and it would heal in a few days. But this is a new one.

MRI request resubmitted two days ago.

Several years ago; I experienced terrible sciatica pain on my right side hip, leg pain. I was given steroid injections in the muscle of the right buttock. Within a couple of days the pain was all but gone. This would last about three months; then the pain would come back. I would then get another injection in the muscle. The max steroid injections allowed are 3 or 4 a year. I continued for about a 1 1/2 years. Eventually this appeared to resolve the sciatica pain. Not sure whether you have already tried these type steroid of injections

Unfortunately, because we do tend to compensate, the other side does cause additional problems.

Thought not related; some time later I did develop spinal issues.

Hopefully you can get a proper diagnosis.
