Default Hi everyone! I am new here!

Hello....

My name is Alison and I live in Broomfield, Colorado. I was hit by a car (as a pedestrian) in 1985 and suffered major damage to my body. Throughout the years, my spine did not fare well. I had cervical fusion of my neck (3 levels) in 2004. Since then I get annual radiofrequency. I try to work on a regular basis, cardio and free weights. Consider myself to be in overall good shape, with the exception of my neck! I recently had three terrible episodes of pain in my neck which resulted in an emergency room visit followed by an MRI. I went to see my spine doctor who informed me that the verterbrae above my fusion has become slightly unstable. Eventually, I may need more surgery. Has anyone else suffered from this? I am petrified that the pain will come again without warning. The only thing I could do was take pain medicine and flexeril and wait to feel better. My doctor has said that I am free to resume my workouts, but I am afraid.

Anyway, nice to meet you all! I am happy to have found this site!

Alison

Hi Allison ~ Could you please post your latest MRI REPORT. Don't post the films, just the report. It would help us in helping YOU.

I'm so sorry you've been thru all this, but you're in good company. Alot of us are suffering from either cervical or lumbar problems, so we know what you're going thru.

Welcome and I hope we hear more from you. God bless and take care. Hugs, Lee
