I just got a MRI and can't see a doctor until September 23. Can some explain what my findings mean.
L3-4 dic dehydration and small central protrusion of disc which indents the thecal sac but does not directly compress nerve root. L4-5 left eccentric herniation of disc with severe mass effect upon left L5 nerve root in the lateral recess. No free disc fragment. L5-S1 degenerative disc change at this level as well with a defect in the posterior disc annulus and modest concentric bulging disc. Impression multilevel substantial degenerative disc changes including a prominent herniation at L4-L5 eccentric to the left with severe mass effect L5 nerve root. Less severe disc pathology L3-4 and L5-S1. |
