I have CSM with slight nureological indications (Hoffman's sign and strength of a 4 in a few places). I have no motor function issues. I also had pain in my neck and deltoid 2 months ago when I had my MRI that showed spinal cord compression, an abnormal signal etc. I have been swimming 1 to 2 miles 4 to 5 days per week ever since and the pain in my neck and deltoid has virtually gone away, the sensations down my right arm, which I also had, are are greatly diminished too. Does anyone else here with CSM, or similar issues find swimming helpful? I feel tremendous when I finish. Does anyone else here recommend any other exercises?
