Default Had fusion and now foot is hot

I had spinal fusion and harrington rods inserted about 13 years ago. In the hospital my surgeons said that it was normal that one of my feet (my right one) was very warm to the touch and that it would go away in a couple of weeks. Here I am 13 years later still with a hot foot. Any suggestions?
