Angry MRI results

Hey all I'm new just found this group and I am hoping someone here can help me understand a few things please.
I have been diagnosed with spondylosis, degenerated disc disease, and osteoarthritis, in my neck and spine and here's my MRI.
Mild diffuse disc osteophytes at C4/5?
Thoracic spine is a small central disc protrusion at T9/10, which effaces the anterior CSF but doesn't extend to exit canal.
The lumber spine has prominent degeneration disc related change at L3/4 with also loss of disc hight, L3/4 mild left paracontal diffuse disc bulge.
MRI not showing no nerve or root impingement !
Anybody have any ideas hits tips?

I am suffering with pan in my lower spine, my neck, hips/ribs, pains in legs wrist and hand, I suffer with numbness like pins in needles feeling like tingling feeling in my arms and legs. I can't manage to get about outside without the use of crutches as I have awful pains in me my hips and lower spine if I do!

Hi Ilovemyfamily,

I feel for you, having the same problems.

Have you had any therapy? PT?

MRI's are not 100%, my physiatrist said they are usually done lying down so of course pressure is taken off your spine and protrusions etc could pull away from it.

I have a herniated disc in my neck and have awful pain in my neck, left arm/fingers, lower back and legs/big toes. It goes between pain/tingling/stabbing.

Nothing on my MRI showed nerve or root impingement but I just had an EMG done and it showed trapped nerves at C7 and my left elbow, nothing in my lower back.

Again though I'm told the EMG's are not 100% either, many times nothing shows up and people have found out later on they did have pinched nerves, all so frustrating.

I think you need to go for an EMG and go from there.

I also think all the things you're mentioning can cause pain.

Yesterday I was in a fetal position crying with lower back pain, got to see my Dr "again" to try and figure out what this is from and the pain is spreading.

Have you seen your Dr with the MRI results? what is she/he saying?

Ask for an EMG if they don't mention it, it's worth a try.

I so feel for you, hope you can get some relief, let us know how things go?
