Default Surgery set for Sept. 4th.

Good Morning All,
so I went back to Dr and have a date for surgery the Dr. report stats I have screws in the c4 disk space and not in the bone and a failure to fuse the previous c4-6 acdf. and there are spinous process wires in the c4-6 posterior elements but no bony fusion, he said my pain is caused by the screws being in the tissue not the bone and it never fused right ....
any info are input would be welcome as I am scared to death for the 4th time .
I don't know how much more I can take of so much pain and wondering if my neck will ever be fixed again...
