Default Discectomy

Three months ago I had a discectomy. This was to relieve a trapped nerve which was restricting the use of my arms.

There is no improvement in my condition. Probably slightly less movement than before the operation. I am told by a Neurologist it can take up to two years before I see any improvement. Anybody any experience with this procedure?
