I got a diagnosis of cervical spondylosis, and I'm wondering if that can be causing my blurry vision. When I look down or it's the worse when I bend my neck to look down, my vision gets blurry ( it will become better if I look up again or if I straight my head up again ), but also sometimes it feels like my eyes go from side to side for a while even when my head is straight again !
I had an x ray of the neck so far, and it says : No compression fracture deformity. Mild retrolisthesis of C4 on C5. Minimal disc space narrowing at C3-4 and C4-5 with tiny endplate osteophytes. MIld foraminal narrowing at C6-7 on the left. Prevertebral soft tissue within normal limits. I'm waiting on insurance to let me have the neck and head MRI. |

Or it can be intracranial hypertension, because I have pressure in my ears also 24/7 for 5-6 weeks now.

Your x-ray seems to confirm your diagnosis of cervical spondylosis. Dr. Google describes cervical spondylosis as "general term for age-related wear and tear affecting the spinal disks in your neck."
It would seem unusual for neck problems to cause blurry vision. But perhaps you should see a neurologist. My wife gets blurred vision when she blends over. Her neurologist said they were ocular migraines. |

Did she have any tests done, or she was dx by symptoms only ? My eye dr. and my rheumatologist have no clue why bending my neck causes blurry vision. I'm waiting for neck and head MRI approval, and then I will hear what my neurologist will say. But I got a very good link on Arthritis forum which say that cervical spondylosis CAN cause dizziness, blurred vision, etc.

My wife had an MRI, which was ultimately normal. Based on her symptoms the neurologist said they were Ocular migraines. Although her symptoms are different than yours. At times she completely loses vision in one eye. Your symptoms are primarily blurriness right?

Yes, especially if I bend my neck and look down. I had a brain MRI waiting for the results.
