Default Lyrica withdrawal, go up 25mg or stay at 50mg?

I'm new but have reading the Lyrical withdrawal threads for a while. I had been on Lyrica for C5/6 fusion, neck, arm and shoulder pain for three years. Originally placed on 150mg in morning and 150mg at night.

Over the years I have tapered off the morning dose as it was too sedating. Recently, I had my 150mg dose down to 100mg. I thought that since I tapered it slow I could stop. I landed in the ER for fluids, restlessness, dry heaves, severe night sweats, and increased anxiety. Two weeks this went on and I started back at 50mg again. I've been on 50 and am still using anti nausea meds. The only symptom that improved is night sweats.

My pain clinic says that I should just withdrawal at 50mg for two days, and 25mg for five. This sounds too fast for me. Then they said I can add back 25mg to see if that helps with nausea, full stomach and GI problems. They don't think these symptoms are related to Lyrica.

I'm not sure to go up 25 and see if it helps me eat, or if I will have new symptoms from increasing. It's been a long month at 50mg with same side effects. A new GI doc place me on Prilosec twice a day and says that it takes a week to kick in. Any advice?
