Confused Can scs trial for pain damage my spine?

I HAVE WEAKNESS IN MUSCLES, BACK PAIN AND PINCHING WHICH COMES AND goes in thorax. I have breathing problem and and muscle tightnes in chest, shoulder, neck and shoulder blade. The original pain and piching is in the area where lead came out of back(it was very bloody and I had red and whelped skin all over Which I had assumed was from tape allergy) No one knows what is wrong with me> I have had all kind of test. It is not my heart or gastro In therapy now to help bulged and hurting muscles in neck, chest, shoulder and top of arm. I also have weakeness in my legs to the point I cant walk. My stomach swells with small amount of food. I feel like my stomach muscles have also been affected. This all started upon sitting up after a SCStrial procedure. I had not experienced any of these problems prior. Would apprecitae any and all feed back. I am so frustrated and worried about what is wrong and why cant someone an answer?? Thanks

Are you taking any medications; opioids, etc. which of course cause excessive abdominal issues? It would appear the SCS awakened some issues in your system, including the sensitivity to the tape. I can understand your frustration.
Hopefully you will get some responsive ideas.

Tongue after scs trial

I have been on narcotics for 15 years for RSD and I dont think that is problem, but I do think whatever caused it my whole spine, neck and abdomen structure is different. A round bone hase moved forward in chest, my abdomen has end if sternum bone forwar, my right ahoulder blade is higher than left which is where I have lot of pain as if nerves and arteries, muscle are being sqeezed or trapped by raised scapula bone. My throat lookes different also like it has moved, no longer have the adams apple. It disappeared also have pulling into chest from that area. I had terrible muscle spams right after procedure which pulled into my ribs terrible! I feel like something has shrunk on left side or my back is totally out of alignment. I had no issues before but immediately after all with shortness of breath!!

What does the doctor say that did the trial? There is usually a rep from the company of the SCS being used? There should be some responsibility; as well as the clinic used for the trial since none of these symptoms were there before the trial and began when sitting up after the SCS trial was put in. Something is very wrong if a lead came out of the back. It obviously wasn't in placed correctly.

Not sure what options you have, other than speaking to a lawyer. I am not a person that would usually suggest something like this; but it appear no one is taking responsibility. This might put some pressure for the individuals involved to dig deeper and see that you are seen by doctors necessary to find out what happened? It would appear something went very wrong.

Please keep in touch.
