Default Bladder Effected by Spinal Stenosis Prednisone?

I have severe cervical 6 and 7 stenosis..I noticed when I took Prednisone I could urinate easily and empty bladder. Otherwise it seems like lots of urges and little output. I read where it is rare for this to effect bladder and bowl function...anybody else? thanks

Prednisone has the same effect on me. I think this is normal as my sister says if affects her the same way. Much need, much output. If you are off of it, and cannot urinate properly, and enough time has gone by that it is out of your system, go to an Urologist as soon as possible, make sure you have your medical records faxed in advance. If your bladder is full, go to the Hospital.
