I had an ADCF C4-C5, C5-C6, C6-C7. I also had severe cervical stenosis. My surgeon used implants. They won't break down. I am 8 months out, and my neck feels great. Best of luck!

Thanks for your post. They have changed my surgery to a laminoplasty where they enter from the back of the neck and use metal not bone. Did you have that option?

No, just the ACDF with peek implants. They fill the implants with bone that they shaved off doing the decompression. I have a 4 inch titanium plate with 8 screws. The vertebrae will fuse together. I have good bone growth, and I am now 8 months out. Good luck to you!
