Default Hi Jomar

The latest flexion extension x-rays (odontoid radiograph) were from Nov. 2020 and Jan. 2021. The had me open my mouth during one of the pictures so they could see better. That is when it was noticed that the device was not optimally fused. I probably need to get another current CT scan.
The possibility of scar tissue is a definite concern. I have an appointment with a neurosurgeon scheduled soon. Hopefully he will discuss all risk/benefits with me. I will certainly ask him! What scares me the most is how they get the clips out. Any surgery is risky, but this to me, would be very complex.
MY headaches and occipital nerve pain are horrendous though! I have a big decision to make.
