Hi, can someone suggest best sleeping position after posterior Neck surgery? I was looking into the bed wedge pillows that prop one up rather than laying flat. I have had ADFS but it is being redone and posterior this time. I imagine the incision will hurt, laying directly on it so propping up with a wedge may be better? Any suggestions please before I purchase the wedge. Thanks!

Hi Checker,
I'm speaking only as someone with a variety of back pain problems, some of them severe and troublesome. I don't know about the surgery you mention. But if it were me, I'd ask the doctor first about what kinds of pillows to get or avoid. Then I'd look up pillows on Amazon and see what's available. There will be a huge variety, and I might just pick the one that looks as if it will work for me and try it. You can usually return items if you don't wait too long and haven't damaged them. You could try out another one, and so on, until you find one that seems best for you.
