Hi everyone,
I had hoped someone may have an idea what is causing my pain.. I'll explain my situation.. I had a C5 C6 fusion done in 2002 that had recentley been found to be a failed fusion.. I had a revison done approximatley 2 weeks ago.. Starting last Thursday when I lay down in bed I have trouble lifting my head off the pillow or turning over.. When I do this I have excruciating pain at the base of my neck in the spine around the C7 T1 area.. I have never felt pain this bad before and didn't experiance this with my last fusion.. The pain wasn't that sever when I had the herniated disc back in 2002.. I am able to sit and walk around and I don't have this type of pain.. It is only when I lay down.. My C5 C6 fusion was recentley done by a ortho spine specialist.. I had x-rays done at my 2 week post op follow up and he was very happy with what he is seeing so far.. I didn't have this pain when I had seen him last.. I had just wondered if anyone has any ideas or has experianced this type of pain themselfs.. Dawn
