Default Symptoms after epidural--almost one week

Hi all, I've had three of these epidural previously, but not quite the symptoms I am having now.

Day 2 I started having pain, and almost what I would call weakness in my leg, and foot. It comes and goes, and if that saying is true that "it gets worse before it gets better" is true, then I am there now.

I have trouble walking, because I am in so much pain. I am going to get the Mobic filled that the dr. prescribed, I don't take pain med other than just my Aleve.

I can live with the pain, and am hoping that all this means is the shot did get into the right area, and things will eventually get better. I am recovering from the bronchitis slowly, and have set my second shot for 12/5.

I've had success from all but one shot in the past. This my first one since my laminectomy in the spring.

Just looking for some similar experiences if possible. Thanks again!!!

Default pain after epidural

My daughter had a ESI 7/5/07 and is still in extreme unrelenting pain. Dr suspects arachnoiditis. It sounds like the injection is not working for you. You may want to rethink haveing another one. If your pain had not subsided, you need to have an MRI or something.
