I haven't had your problems, but I have had my hardware removed. They wouldn't do it for another year though. I did fuse but allergy problems were present. Worse yet, my own bone just crumbled away. They then did a BMP. (Bone Morphogenic Protein)
Not sure about loose screws. The only person with this problem, had larger ones put in, that I know of. What did your doctor say?
