Default Complete loss of Disc Height at L5/S1 level

8/8/06 MRI states the above.

When I had my fusion L4/L5 NS stated L5/S1 was autofused...so what does the above statement mean???

Also, MRI show sublte clumping of the nerve roots within the secal sac at L5/L4 indicating some degree of of arachnoiditis. Did a tad bit of research on Arachnoiditis and got depressed at it stated it is incurable.

Arachnoiditis causing the severe pins and needles running up and down the outside of my left leg?

Will be so glad when 10/20 gets here as NS will be doing an ESI at C7-T1 and a Lumbar ESI...just not sure if it will be at L2/L3/..L3/L4...L4/L5 as I hav disc bulging at the 3 levels.

Hmmmm. Calgon (some good drug) Take Me Away!!!!

Claudia,
Sorry I can't help you but maybe this will give you a gentle bump up so someone with info will see it and help.
I can however relate to the pain your having as I have problems at all three levels and S1 nerve damage, not to mention other problems.
Good luck and hope you get relief and answers soon.
