:hug::hug: Curious...Insurance would be great!
Has he tried any of those snorning aids like the strips? Dont know if they work or not. Yep woke up all kinked up again. My left arm is so weak. The spine doc says (lemme see if I get this right)...3mm retrolitehsis @ c6. I can raise my right arm to the ceiling but left looks like I am hailing a cag or hitler. And when I try to support weight with it, argh the pain. I tialy think I have been sleeping on it wrong. Anyway back to PT to try to strengthen. :grouphug: |
he has tried those, the sprays, the pills and even a $1000 special mouth piece made by our dentist. that thing killed his jaw. he still sounds like a freight train.
the weird thing, he is really hard to get to wake up and rollover. but as soon as i am out of the bed he is awake. by that time i am so grouchy ( nice word for it) that i leave even when he says he will. last night really ticked me off..he said he was just stretching out his back cuz it hurt. :mad: he doesn't know the meaning of a back hurting. have you asked hubby if he notices you speeping in a certain position? be sure to watch how you are sitting at your desk. crossing your legs will make you crooked. |

Possibly, he has a deviated septum ???
The heart monitor is for 21 days & nights/June 11. I'm supposed to see my cardio. doc, again and for the outcome, toward the end of June (don't want to post the exact date :winky:). Initially, I was supposed to wear it until June 6, but the count had to begin again after the sensor's battery cover had to be replaced; the first one was determined to be faulty. (I'm attaching a photo; I've noted its problem for the monitoring company, which had, first, told me to use tape to hold it together. Only thing that accomplished was skin irritation.) My cardio. doc is assessing how my heart is (over)working due to arrhythmia; he's already noted the other heart probs. And, the last time I wore a monitor, it ended up being for over a month. I don't want this time to be botched, but have a feeling something ain't right with this process with this monitoring company. I'll keep some of the sunflowers and let birds have a couple. I've got 48 growing. :D |
Bobbi did the cardio say what kind of arrhythmia? Keeping my fingers crossed that the monitoring goes smoothly. :hug:
|
Nope, he didn't specify, but did assure that he's other (women) patients who can actually see and hear their hearts, too. Loud swooshing sounds/hear blood flow and watching my heart pound at times is what led to this 'round of monitoring.
I'd seen my PCP the day prior and she said that he (cardio. doc) might want to increase the amt. of beta blocker I take; he opted for monitoring. |

I hope that you're feeling better, Curious, and have been able to get some solid rest.
:hug: The monitoring ain't going anything like it's supposed to; the monitor is being replaced tomorrow since this one is no longer working. I think: My cardiologist might want to treat the results with a healthy dose of skepticism, since the monitors haven't functioned correctly since the first one arrived. It's not on this end that things have gone wrong; it's the monitor that was provided :(. |
Has you hubby had a sleep study done, that can be a problem with the snoring.:Zzzz::
If you like me even sleeping hurts, this week has been bad |
bobbi:
can't be on your end..you have a heart of gold bobbi. :hug: will you have to do the monitoring all over again? any clue on what they think is the matter? :hug: rfei57: he had a sleep study done that dx his PLMD. what they said about his snoring was from the position he sleeps in. flat on his back withhis arms above his head..head thrown back so his mouth is wide open. LOL. he can even snore with it closed. :eek: he is getting plenty of air and doesnt stop breathing , so it's not apnea. i sleep a few hours at a time. wake up from the pain. i can fall back asleep since i started taking melatonin. :hug:i'm sorry you having a bad week too. :hug: |
i missed this post somehow. :confused:
one of my aunts had a condition which was the opposite of mitro valve prolapse. i forget the name. :o she had said she could feel and hear her heartbeat. i am so sorry the testing is screwing up. Quote:

:hug::hug: Bobbi.
My DH had an arrythmia 5 years ago. It was supra ventricular tachycardia. Doc explained it like a short circuit where the charge keeps going round and round the circuit and would make his heart be fast on occasion. First attack happened after a batch of spicy chili I made. I thought I killed him :eek: But they dx'd it pretty quick and zapped him with a wire to his heart to close the short circuit. He's been fine ever since. And I have never made that chili again just in case. :D Putting ya in my thoughts and prayers Bobbi :hug: |
