I'm so very sorry to hear about what you've had to go through. I too have finally realized after three shoulder surgeries, a torn MCL, multiple bouts with my lower back and now finally the neck that I am a recurring surgical and physical therapy victim, but not crazy. I suffer from Osteoarthritis and will have to live with these issues the rest of my life. I used to think that people who underwent so much surgery and had so many issues must be maybe a little weak. Well now I feel ashamed.
I am blessed with a great spouse and family and hopefully you will have support from your family during this challenging time. Hold on to your kids, give them lots of hugs (better than any pill).... Wishing you the best - hang in there. p.s. just found out this week that a screw has come loose and I may have to go back in to get it removed.... not to happy about that one. |

I have had cervical fusions from C5-T1. Three different sugerys. The last fusion was done 2009. Now I need C3-C5. I have been told by my Pain Doc that the surgery can cause more problems. So has anyone had this many levels fused? If so has there been any pain probems in the future?
thanks ssheehan |
