I had my Epidural last week and i feel A little, but what are your thoughts on physical theapy, I have a L4-5 disc bulge, and they do alot of pushing in that area to decompress the spine, and I wonder with that pressing they do if they are doing more harm than good, what are the feeling about PT?

Hello,
New here and I must have messed up when I replied the first time, becuase it never showed up. I also have bulging discs in L1/L2, L4/L5, L5,S1. Best thing that worked for me in Therapy was traction, where they strech you for a 15 minute session 2 or 3 times a week. You'll notice a little improvement the first day, but after a few weeks you can really notice if it works for you. I had it done for about 4 weeks and then was given some other exercises to do to help support it and it helped for about 6 months. Hope this helps a little. Take care, Dennis |
