I am only 17 and diagnosed with TCS (Tethered Cord Syndrome). I had it operated on and neurosurgeon said the recovery shouldnt bother me that bad. It's been 6 months now and my back hurts just about every day and now when a twist or turn it feels like my spine is grinding together. I am afraid to go back to the doctor b/c there prolly isnt anything he can do. I was just wondering about the rest of you. It's a really long drive for my parents and I feel bad if we go back and he says the pain I am experiencing is normal. I thought my pain tolerance was pretty high but I am starting to wonder. Any comment would be grately appreciated!
