There is a focal T9 vertebral body high T1/T2 signal intensity consistent with a vertebral body hemangioma.
C7-T1 through T8-T9. There is minimal disk bulge at the T2-T3, T3-T4 and T8-T9 levels with no significant vertebral canal stenosis or cord impingememt. The bilateral neuroforamina are patent throughout. T9-T10, Disk space narrowing and loss of T2 signal intensity and focal right paracentral disk protusion with superior extrusion to the level of the T9 mid vertebral body. There is effacement of the anterior thecal sac and anterior spinal cord with no underlying edema. the residual thecal sac measures 9 millimeters. The bilateral neuroforamina ar patent. T10-T11, Disk space narrowing and loss of T2 signal intensity and right paracentral focal disk protrusion, which effaces the anterior thecal sac. There is mild deformation along the right anterior aspect of the thoracic cord with no underlying edema consistent with inpingement. Theresidual thecal sac measures 9 millimeters in AP dimension. The bilateral neuroforamina are patent. T11-T12-L1, No thoracic spinal core demenstrates no focal atrophy or edema. There is mild inpingement upon the right anterior aspect of the T9-T10 and T11-T12 IMPRESSION, There is some mild multilevel thoracic degenerative disk disease most prominent at the T9-T10 through T10-T11 levels with right paracentral disk protrusions, which result in mild cord impingement wiht no underlying edema. No severe canal stenosis. Neuroforamina are patent throughout. If anyone can tell me what this means, It would be a big help. I don't see a spine specialist until the end of December. I've heard it is a spinal cord pinch???? Any help would be greatly appreciated. dhall |
