1. Is it possible to incur spinal fluid (non-cerebral) loss due to trauma (e.g. a car accident), in which there was no evident injury)? Is it opossible for that seepage to occur 14 months after the accident? Or, would it be immediate?
2. Can a seepage occur over a long period of time without causing some degree of paralysis? 3. Can such a seepage occur suddenly at some time long after an accident? 4. Can a seepage of spinal fluid occur without the patient's exposure to an accident? 5. What, if any, is the recommended treatment? 6. Is the patient to be reconciled to paralysis? If so, when is that likely to occur? To what extent is the paralysis likely to incapacitate the patient? My sincere thanks to anyone who can throw some light on the above issues.
