I am one of those unfortunate folks with "early spondylitic myelopathy," according to my doctor. I haven't come to grips with it just yet, or am I just thinking positive? I long to get back to work as I love my profession. But, I haven't had my surgery yet to "decompress" the spine as you mentioned. March 4 is my surgery date, and I pray it is successful. I want to exercise in order to keep what function I have left in my legs, but every time I do, I seem to have episodes of weakness, pain, and spasm. My future is so uncertain. Anyone else struggle with these occupational loss? I think I am holding up okay, but every once in a while I cry...
