Crazy Please Help to Explain MRI result in words I can understand!

I have had my MRI finaly and the results were forwarded to my GP who I am guessing does not know anything about backs as he was not able to tell me what the results ment. either that or he didnt want me to cry in his office!

please if someone could explain this to me I would be ever so greatful...

Findings:
mild straightning of lumbar lordosis. Distal spinal cord and conus unremarkable with conus terminating at approx L1-2

L1 through to L4-5 notmal

Moderate advanced disck desiccation is demonstrated on a L5-S1 Level with moderate disk height reduction and loss of disk T2 signal. Posterior left central fissure is identified with broad based left subarticular/foramenal disc prolrusion. there is moderate crowding of the neural exit foramen around the exiting L5 nerve root without overt compresion or deformity. There is also contact of the traversing left S1 nerve root which appears mildly displaced posterioriy. there is epidural fat effacement with no deformity to the adjacent thecal sac. (I think this is referring to the needle my dr gave me when he said it may be my sacroilis, however its spelt)

I would be very greatful for all of this to be places in english if anyone can understand it. If not thank you for taking the time to read my post
