Default impression on nerve root

I have a moderate herniation at c-4 against spinal cord but not compressing it. The part I don't understand is (Impressions are on both c-4 nerve roots) If it said compression I would understand.
I's been 11 days and doctor has not called yet.

Thanks for your help..

Jerry
