Default Abasaki, my sincerest apologies...

Hi Abbie,

Two things I don't do(usually) I don't delete my threads...and I try not to edit out what I wrote except to add things or correct grammar...

So, instead of editing or delete what I've written, I am going to owe up to it and give you my sincerest apologies and also my sincerest apologies to others for having to read what I've wrote...

I've moved and got married recently and have lost some info on some good friends here and was just passing by to get some info; I then decided to cut up a little bit knowing that they'll recognize me...and was going to go back incognito...

I'd also like to explain a few things to you about why I posted what I did but that doesn't make excuses for what I did...

been around for almost 9 years and have seen forums reached it's bottom of the low...and even deeper...again and again, I saw people that I cared about getting hurt, got hurt a few times myself and when the other SOS forum went kaplut, I kinda just say, F it...

I also have been fighting a lot of demons lately. I usually don't share it too much and try to keep it light, it gives others a little false perceptions about me...and that is OK...

I also have a wicked sense of humor, for example, Julie calls me golden boy cause I used to call myself, "Goldberg". You'd think I'd stopped at "Goldberg"

but no, I had to call myself, "I am Goldberg, the world's greatest uncircumcised Jewish Wrestler in the World" to distinguish myself from the real Goldberg, the greatest Jewish Wrestler in the world(guess you have to be a wrestling fan to realize that)

while I made a lot of friends, I had my critics that bombarded me in emails and PM's about my "actions"

and I usually take them in by ignoring them...

I guess I am in a place in my life where I do feel really angry a lot and my temper is very very very short and still, it is no excuse for what I've posted...

guess the bottom line is this...

I truly am sorry that I hurt you, please don't go...if I have to get down on my knees and beg you and sing "please don't leave" I will

but then my wife will leave me...and I love her very much and she DOES read this forum...

So, I am down on my typing fingers and you won't be able to read the rest of this message (but it'll say, please don't go...)

Once upon a time....

There was a Doody and an E. No, not a doodyeeee, a doody and an E, pay attention folks!

E and Doody had (have) strange senses of humor. Hell, E and Doody have senses of humor. And they believe very strongly that humor is necessary in life or it would be an even sadder world than it already is.

But E and Doody used that strange sense of humor at another place far away on the internet and many moons ago, and most people thought the E-Doody act was pretty darned funny.

But...not everyone! The E-Doody act offended someone and E-Doody got in trouble. Well, E-Doody were asked not to talk about butts anymore. E-Doody then became the offended ones. Very offended. But this time it was the Doody part of E-Doody who flew off the handle, big-time. Doody was very hurt. E was very hurt. Seemed they just couldn't catch a break. So, E-Doody left the place. Very sadly, but they left.

Seems E-Doody though weren't the only problems and other people left and it became an even sadder place until very few people were left at that internet forum far away.

Now, E has an N and Doody has a ... well, grandoody......and everyone has NeuroTalk, a new and wonderful place provided by Doc John that we all need to take advantage of it.

~~~~~~~~
Doody's moral of the story?
  • The written word easily offends because it can be read in a different tone by each person that reads it.
  • Humor is an absolute necessity in life and must be spread everywhere one goes.
  • If something tantamount to blowing my mind with offensiveness is done, I will fight. If it's small, I try to let it go.
  • Life is way too short. Life is way too challenging.
~~~~~~~~~

I know I like Abaski, though I haven't really come to know her yet because I'm not around enough. And I know I love Who Moi, who I knows faces difficulties every day of his life.

So,... I know I'd like both of them to be here.

No really, in all seriousness.

I've come to mostly not like to listen to jokes. I think it stems from my dad telling jokes every friggin day, I swear to god. But some of the time, LONG ago, it was because he'd been drinking (after work I might add in his defense) and jokes would just pour.

But little Doody-do didn't like the humor because she'd been home alone taking care of little sister doody-do and didn't like cooking and being in charge at the age of -10+.

So, Doody got to really get disgusted every time she heard the jokes. To this day, he never stops. My own doody-do daughter loves to tell jokes and will yell at me to listen to them!

(Actually I think it's my ADD and I don't have the patience or inkling to listen to them.)

Howsumeber...now that Doody is kind of grown up, Doody acts very silly. She doesn't tell jokes, but she does act the part.

Who Moi,

no apologies necessary... i felt that i hurt you and didn't intend to nor do i ever want to!

written word without a voice or face to show emotion is very hard to comprehend... i've been on the wrong end both being the misunderstood and doing the misunderstanding. i feel terribly horrible and sad to know that i hurt you...

i know that you are for the lack of better terms "an old timer" here and deserve to be here more than i. (that is only my opinion)

i was not offended by your joke by no means... i have been going through a lot and just wondered out loud why "I" didn't and couldn't find a joke funny and wondered if maybe there was just a place and time for me that a joke would be funny and then realized that maybe not for me.

if you knew me before (which no one here does) you would know that i was probably one of the biggest practical jokers around...everyone was fair game--from the newest person in my life to the top management boss i ever had. so i find it quite scary that i no longer laugh--i've been told this by my friend but i got to see it in the mirror so to say.

Who moi... please don't leave... these guy/gals really do love you and i can tell that you've been missed. congratulations to you and your new wife!! May you be blessed with all of the happiness, health, and joy that this world may have to offer.

Doody... i apologize to you too if i hurt you in any way by hurting your friend.
