Default My dear friends, and fellow suicide survivors....

"This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your hearts, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when in doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life."

I have been through another fight with the beast. I guess I will always fight him. I went so far down the road that it's scary sometimes. I had my plan pretty much laid out, and had myself convinced it was the way to go. I had the means right in front of me. And, I thought long and hard. If I attempt again, I believe I will succeed. There is something in that, though, that is sobering.

The reason that I put this out here is to thank my friends here who post about their experiences, because, again, it was thinking about the pain my act would cause to the ones who love, and care about me, that made me stay my hand. Helping me to understand your pain, gets my mind off of my own pain, and helps me to reach out to the one who does love and care about me, and whose life I could easily ruin if I were to succeed.

So, THANK YOU, for sharing your insight, and pain with me, and helping to save my life, yet again. I pray that someday I won't have to deal with this beast anymore, but, in the meantime, I have my friends here, and God, and one who does truly love, and care about me.
