Well, daughter and son-in-law passed the worst yesterday evening.

Remember me saying I couldn't believe my elderly parents showed up at granddaughter's house on Friday, and only for 5 minutes???

This morning they are vomiting and having diarrhea. And they are 85 and 81.

I'm sure other grandma now will most likely come down with the stomach flu since she has had grandoody since yesterday.

I haven't been out of my house since I got off work on Friday. I'm not going anywhere near my family. And no guilt.

Frown

it must be making it's way to texas. lil'monkey came home from school with a note. any child who is showing even slight symproms will be sent home. desks are being wiped down between classes with a disinfecting spray.

and the coughing and sneezing..they have asked..lol..and practised that all be made in the crook of the arm. i reminded lil'monkey to wear LONG sleeves.

oh shoot doody. those spread. they need to give them rx's.

i know how hard it is for you to stay away. can you leave them a care package on the door step? from the commercials..isn't it Oust that kills the germs in the air? i know Lysol works on surfaces. the clorox cleanups are easy and work well. door knobs...phones....

Oh Doody..I hope your mom and dad and "the kids" feel better soon!
My sister and brother in law had that yucky virus last week.
Now of course,my moms neighbor has it..It just seems to be everywhere!!
I hope and pray my parents dont get it!!
I am the one to take care of them when they get down..Not that i mind it!
I just dont wanna catch it either...

it is very contagious. i read a long news article on it. the virus last for days on objects. granddoody probably had it on his clothes or belongings he took to the babysitters.

i'll see if i can find the article.

i am being a hermit. when hubby brings lil'monkey home after her workout...i make her enter from the garage...go into the bathroom in the laundy room and change clothes and wash up. put those clothes right in the washer. when hubby gets home at night...same thing.

please take care doody. i'm worried you will catch it.
