Lara,
i'm so glad your daughter got her car back. When we first got our van it was taken from a parking lot while my daughter and i were shopping. It was found the next day un harmed, but was full of used condoms and such... YUK! Needless to say we did some serious cleaning before we used it again.
I hope you guys can get your car up and running soon.
I know some people take the number 666 very seriously, like Jingle said, it has to do with the book of revelation in the Bible. Its the mark of the beast.
Take care and please just ignore that remark about demonic forces. sigh.....

Yea Lara. I'm so happy that your daughter got her car back.

I know what you mean about the police having an awful job to do. It bothers me when they fall into that uncaring mode. Our house and many others on the street got paintballed last week. Minor in the scheme of things, but when you look at the fact that it was a parent driving them around and our neighbor got the license number, you'd think they'd do something, but alas, they couldn't care less. We solve the crime, they won't go after them.

Thanks everyone. Very much appreciated. Sometimes I feel so alone with all this stuff called life. I'm just ignoring the 6 stuff. I think the person had been watching the number of posts waiting for it to get to that. I added a couple of posts so it doesn't worry them any longer, not for me. I'm thinking it might be a situation where some scrupulosity/obsession is involved. At first it kinda freaked me out, but I think in their own mind and own way they were trying to be kind.

julie, I totally understand what you're saying. That's a shocking thing to do to people's property. Paintballing would be worse than graffiti. ugh, hope you were able to get it all off.

oh goofy, what a gross thing to happen. Daughter and I are a bit oc about germs and things and the inside of the car felt really really really dirty. Actually it was dirty with fingerprint dust... gosh, they used a lot, it is everywhere, but not just that sort of dirt, it felt really gross too. It'll take a lot of cleaning once it's all fixed to make it feel like it did before. Need to get all the bad energy out of it... we could feel that bad energy just sitting in it to see what was damaged.

thanks for caring everyone.

We still can't believe it wasn't pulled apart or burnt out or something. sheesh

((Lara)) I'm so sorry you had to go through this. I'm tellin ya, I'd be ripping a few new...well, I'd be kickin some butt in regards to the lack of attention from the police.

And oh PUHLEEZE with the 666th post thing! Good lord. Don't give that another thought!

Hi Lara,
So sorry about what happened to your daughter's car. I don't know what I would do if that happened to me! I am just glad you got it back in one piece. And about the 666 thing. I thought it was interesting last month when my odometer hit 66,666. I used to have a friend in high school whose phone number started with 666 and she told me so many people told her they wouldn't call her because of it. I think its just severe religious superstitions. A bit silly, if you ask me.

My tick-offs : I am ticked off about school. I am stressed out with a constant knot in my stomach because I have no idea where I will be, what school I am going to next fall. I don't know what I want to be "when I grow up" and why all this is so complicated.
I am ticked off that it is so difficult to get a fulltime job with a college degree. I am ticked off that school is so expensive and I have to live paycheck to paycheck. I am ticked off that I have to fill out 2 more applications, write new personal statements, and get 2 more letters of recommendations after I did all that last semester, simply for a new "Scholarship APplication." Couldn't they have combined the applications and used the same letters and statements? Why must it be so complicated? I am ticked off that my father doesn't want me to go to one of the 2 schools and is being close-minded. It ticks me off that I am so close to finishing school but sooo far away from doing what I really want to do. It ticks me off that I feel very lost and confused and there is no advisor who can help me figure it all out. It ticks me off that my brother could do without any problem.

It ticks me off that I have "lost" so many online friends from SOS and SG and that I may never find again.

*Insurance companies..... or at least the one we have REALLY ticks me off.
*Drama.... i get so sick of it....
*when you go the bathroom at night and the person before you has used up all the tp and hasn't replaced the empty cardboard with another roll
*It ticks me off when i'm in the middle of baking something and find out somebody has eaten or used up an ingredient i need for my recipe.
*It ticks me off that several people i know have lost or are dealing with very sick pets because of the poision they found in the food.
*people who are in charge and have let their "power" go to their head.
*people who stick their noses into others peoples business and then cause problems while doing so....
*liars and gossips......they usually go hand in hand......

i guess i'm feeling a bit overwhelmed today........

Amen to that goofy.

It ticks me off that a social worker is still at his job in Ottumwa, Iowa. The dip took his computer in for some repair, I believe at Best Buy, and the workers discovered all kinds of porn on it of children AND animals and pictures of HIM with animals. And yet he is STILL on the job while they investigate. What IS the rationale behind that.

It ticks me off that I went to our best feed store here, which sells cat and dog food, that they STILL had a few questionable items on their shelves!

It ticks me off that a man in Oskaloosa, mad at his girlfriend (who was not home at the time), AND babysitting her 2 daughters under the age of 14, twice beat their black lab with a frying pan to the point its surgeries have come to $6000 thus far. But people from across the US have donated $14,000 so far. Broke his teeth out, broke his femur and numerous other horribleness. And the charges they have against him are primarily for child endangerment. Which of course I understand.

It ticks me off that so many soldiers are having mental problems some to the point of suicide from the 'war' we're fighting.

It ticks me off that a wheel-chair bound woman in california who was prescribed marijuana by her doctor for pain and lack of appetite was arrested for possession of said marijuana.

It ticks me off that I'm ticked off and going down hill with the tick offs so I better stop while I'm behind.

No wonder you're ticked off ! I'm sick to hear this. (((Goofy)))

I wonder just how often hospitals make mistakes! It would probably shock us all if we knew....Our grandson Matthew went in for a simply adnoidectomy and they overdosed him..he was 8.

I'm so sorry Goofy.

(((Goofy))) That's just godawful, unimaginable. How can humans make such hideous errors.

I'm STILL extremely ticked off at the mean man who beat Kane the black lab with a frying pan in Oskaloosa, Iowa. AND they are letting the 2 little girls return to his home who witnessed the beatings and told their father that their mother's boyfriend threatens them as well. What IS wrong with that human services people!
