Anyone out there (sure there is) that has survived a serious attempt and somehow found a desire to live again. I was unconscious for about 18 hours due to drug od and was very upset when I woke up in ICU - had put in letter that I did not want any type of resuscitation or life support attempts but they ignored it and I am, to be honest, mad.

You obviously have people who care about you. Give them a break. And you must have redeeming qualities or they wouldn't care whether or not you succeeded in your attempt. One day at a time is the only way to take it. Don't be hard on yourself - you're worth some happiness. I'll think of you - often.

A lot of the people here have had, or still have, serious depression issues. And everyone here will tell you that your life is worth living, and that you can be happy.

Try not to be mad at the people who saved you, (I know it might be hard), they were just doing what they believe is right, they do have your best interests at heart. I know how strong suicidal thoughts can be, but you can get through them.

Keep posting here, the people here want to help you, and many of them have first hand experiance with what you're feeling. You'd be surprised how much it can help just talking to someone who cares.
