Well thank you to you sweeties who asked after me.

Yup, we pretty much got snowed in yesterday! Anybody who was out in that stuff was just simply an idiot. And they were. Emergency vehicles were rescuing people on roads all over Iowa.

Thank goodness my daughter, son-in-law and g-doody stayed rather than risking a drive home. There's no way I could shovel the drifts outside my house. Son-in-law dug us out so we could get to work this morning, yippee. It was -8 on my way to work 2 hours ago.

Still and all, I have to say...this was a baby blizzard compared to the blizzard of January 1975 in NW Iowa!!! Never forget that one as long as I live!

Yup....we are now having a heat wave it is 9 degrees....going shopping with the Olhipie but I think he is staying in the car with the heater on....gotta love my Olhipie!:inlove:
