I hear the furnace running this morning..thought we were done with that! And the weather person is saying a possible freeze warning for early Sunday morning...hope I can find enought "stuff" to cover the plants with...thought we were done with that too!

Mr.Alffe is getting ready to leave town again...~sigh, for someone who is retired he surely is working a lot! My car is so dirty I can hardly see out the windows...but Cassie is a joy! Where is the windex?

We are loving seeing the orioles again...can't miss their singing! Meeting Barbo for lunch.

Singing at OCCC (oklahoma city community college) commencement tonight. We had our concert last night and it was awesome.... Have to be at work early today... hope everyone has a good Friday.... So glad its pay day LOL

What's on plate? Fixing bird food. The orioles, hummers and red wing black birds are eating everything I put out and want more.
Then - lo and behold - a few minutes ago an indigo bunting!!! came in.

You don't get to feed the birds when you live on the 9th floor with no balcony! You only see what flies by - starlings, crows, geese and an occasional hawk. But I can HEAR all the birds down below. I look down on a winding river and across at a beautiful park full of lush, green trees. It's neat.

Oh Abby I'd hug you if I could. Do you have any music you could play to keep you company? Sometimes I like being alone and sometimes not. You could call a friend and talk awhile - or just keep posting on here. I know you have tons of friends. I'm thinking of you. Barb

I have house to clean and room to get ready.

I have food shopping to do.

Give both doggies baths and clip nails.

Have to make dinner oh and lunch and dishes.

But then We get to go pick up my oldest at the airport around mid night


Then on Tue will have her friend come visit she is like another daughter .
This next week is going to zip by like a bullet train to bad I have to work .

Today i have a bunch of Hugs for Abby!!!!!

My plate has been busy this morning. Have to say I haven't seen an indigo bunting in years!...tiny light blue bird...correct wren? I have been cooking treats for Cassie and stuffing her kong with apple slices spread with jelly..cause her previous owner said she loves fruit...specially watermelon.
Also slicing turky hot dogs and baking them for an hr.

We had our early morning visit from the oriole...male only this year so I suspect they are not nesting in our yard. We could hear them singing last night when we were in the hot tub...they do seem to like our outside music..*grin

Mothers' Day began early....thank you so much and you know who you are. Hugs for the room.

I did get the newest Rascal Flatts CD out and listened to it.... the thing with that is... my only CD player is in my car. That's why I didn't post back last night. I spent a few hours in my car.

I am usually "ok" with being alone...but not recently... it's a lack of self trust.

I really don't have any friends... let alone any that I can call...
I have many acquaintances... but my friends turned away as my health got worse. They don't know how to help me... It's ok...I get where they are coming from.
