Today I went and had my hair cut ..my tail was long enough for them to give back to me to send out for locks for love so I guess a pony tail is on my plate lol
had a ME day with my dd got her signed in for doing Vol at the kids Art camp again most of the summer. Got hair cuts.. I love my new hair cut lots !!1 hope and shh dont tell dh but got dd ears done a 3ed time. I think my hair cut will distract hub and he wont notice the 3ed hole on dd ears.

My nephew and his wife came to town and we had lunch...first fresh strawberries of the year! And also wanted to celebrate Barbo's good news.

After rainning all day yesterday and last night it turned out to be a beautiful day. I need to scrubb both bird baths...awful yr. for 'squitoes!

My ears closed up shortly after having holes punched in them..ticks me off because all the really pretty earrings are not clips! Loved hearing about the tail BMW....

I'm going to try and dry a banana...hate to throw out a perfectly good banana when Cassie likes them in her Cheerio snacks... yes, I am still cooking for this dog!! and still dieting!

We haven't heard the orioles for several days so wonder if they have moved on. I think I finally got the right combo of sugar and water because we have many hummingbirds both in the early morning and at night.

I am afraid that a pair of mallards (ducks) have built a nest in our yard of all places...in my flower bed, in the middle of the ferns I think..can't tell for sure because I only see her fly when Cassie flushes her....it startles all of us. We are a long way from any water so I can't imagin why they would pick our yard.

FINALLY....... my FIL is getting out of rehab and getting to come home today.. They did a swallowing test on him yesterday and i guess for what ever reason he didn't do very well on it and the lady that did it wrote up papers recommending they puree all his food. Not for sure what all that is about as she went out of town yesterday evening and we havent even had a chance to talk to her about it. anyway Rick is going to try to get that changed as we've never seen my FIL have any problems swallowing before.... Guess we'll see what happens with that.....
We will be leaving for vacation on the 17th and will be gone a week so i'll be MIA during that time....
