Thank you for all your PMS and emails. There has been such an outpouring of love and support from this place.... I am humbled. I love you guys... I've not be able to read much here and i dont want anybody to think that i dont appreciate all the kind words.
The medical examiner did not do an autopsy. He said there was no need since she died of natural causes. If we wanted to have a private one done it would cost a minimum of 6 thou. and no guarentee of when it could be done.
We chose not to do it so we dont know for sure why my mom passed away.

My mom had high blood pressure and was bad about not taking her meds. She hated taking medication. She'd take her blood pressure and if it was normal she'd stop her medication then when it went back up she'd start back on it. With that knowledge i honestly think she had stopped her meds and her BP skyrocketed and she had a stroke or heart attack. I dont know that but that is what i think.
Moms funeral is Saturday at 10:00. I'm not able to sleep much and yesterday was the first time i could eat without getting sick. I'm not doing great but i'm hanging in there. It is only with Gods help that we are going to get through this.

Love you much just wanted to touch base and let everybody know how much i appreciate them.

Dear (((Vicky))) ... it was a comfort to me, 6 months ago my mom died, to know she died the way all of us would want... peacefully, and in her sleep. We didn't know what caused my mom's death either... but for my mom... gosh, it was the best way ever... her little apartment was "perfect"... everything in its place... even the Christmas gifts we'd given her 5 days earlier had found their homes along the back of her couch (she'd scolded us because we gave her too many photos and she had no idea where she'd put them all - and trust me, it really p*ssed me and my sister off so we b*tched to each other about it and this kinda thing ALL the time... but I don't go there if I can help it... it is and was what it is and was)....

Anyway... no one can tell us how we're going to feel when we lose our mom...

and so no one can really tell you what to expect, my friend... it will hit you in waves... completely out of left field and wham, the emotion will knock you down...

Take care of yourself dear Goofy... be good to yourself... baby steps... you've lost your mom... you were and are a part of her.
And now a huge part of you is gone.

Listen to Amazing Grace or an Hallelujah song... those kind of songs lift me.
