You've been on my mind today my friend.

I remember back to my own mum's day so have some idea of how you might be feeling.

Please know that my prayers are with you and your family.

Thank You.... sigh...i cant get over the fact that i'll never see my mom again here on this earth... we talked almost every day and i was at her house at least once a week.... we were close. I've never experienced this kind of pain before. i know things will get better...... eventually...... sigh......

There really just isn't anything I can say that will ever make things better for you dear friend...

She will always be by your side, of that I know.
And this I know, as well: your Mom is very sad, too... for as long as you are sad, and yep, even in your happiness, your Mom is going to be there beside you. OH, and I know this, too - your Mom is very proud of you! I hope this all makes sense... as it is what has comforted me since my Mom passed.

I would love to hear how you felt when Scott sang Amazing Grace. I can only imagine the overwhelming feelings - and pride was/is right up there!

I sang with him. he sang the verses and i sang harmony on the chorus. he started to think he didn't want to stand up there by himself. We sounded beautiful together. He did awesome and yes i was a proud momma, and i know my mom was looking down from heaven smiling. She was a proud grandma.
I sang at my dads funeral but that was a completely different ball of wax. his situation was totally different than moms. I hadn't planned on singing at moms as i knew i couldn't, but standing up there with Scott was different. We drew strength from each others presence and both broke down once we sat back down. This has been a life changing experience.

PLEASE if there are people in your life you love tell them often. You never know when they will be called home to meet their maker. And i love you guys and i'm not just saying that. i really do love my family here at NT.
Vicky

I really am imagining how beautiful it was for the two of you to sing together like that. Bravo!
