I'm almost ashamed of myself for missing so many wonderful posts with great messages so forgive me for bumping. I think we all need to take stock once in awhile.

Melody, I really loved that video. What an excellent message. And such a hard thing to learn how to do. Time and patience with one's self I guess.

And thanks to you too David.

Want to hear something interesting? I am a completely different person than I was in my youth. I really am. When we are young, we think we know it all, we should have it all, we are entitled to it all, well we really don't get it. UNTIL WE GET OLDER.

My whole outlook changed as I got older.

I appreciate things so much more. I treasure every little thing I do.

I just appreciate life.

To me, it's beautiful. I realize this is just me.

But it's ME!!!

And I'm a completely different person than I was just last year, LOL!

I think that must be why this term was coined...older and wiser.

If we're lucky enough to take that 'wiser' path...sometimes just one small conversation or one small act can change the course of your life. Growing is definitely a constant learning process.

I still have issues that suck me down, but I do manage a thank you to most everything I receive. Even small stuff like...when I find something I've been frustratingly looking for turns up...I say thank you out loud. I've even thanked my refrigerator on occasion for having what I wanted.

Not sure who hears it, but I say it just the same. :D

Learning to forgive myself is an ongoing process.
